I met Mark 5 or 6 years ago when I was dating his son Max.. I have never met a more honest, kind, hardworking, loving man, than mark. I was always so happy to see him and just hear him talk because there was something about him telling stories about metal detecting or a certain piece of copper that was special.. or just talk about anything really that just made you wanna hear more and for the stories to never end. He was absolutely one of a kind and I was so lucky to be able to meet him. He absolutely could light up a room, The world will be a lot less bright without him.. broke my heart when I found out he was gone.. He really was a spectacular man and now my momma gets so meet someone who was just as incredible as she was. Sending the family all of my love, I'm so sorry you lost Mark.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💖💖💖

We only saw Mark once a year--for the past 20 yrs. or so--when visiting friends and attending the Hiawatha Music Festival. (We live outside of Cleveland, Ohio.) We found him to be a very affable, genuine, gentle spirit. When he spoke to you, he looked right at you with those beautiful blue eyes and that wonderful smile. It was fitting that the Hiawatha Music Festival was cancelled this year, as it would not have been the same without Mark--and it won't be in the future. My heart goes out to Mark's family. We know he is somewhere working on his spiritual garden, baking wondrous desserts to share, and just loving those he left behind. We miss you, Mark!

I worked with Mark for several years at Goodwill Farm and enjoyed his wonderful, genuine, and positive nature. Such kindness and patience will be missed.

Mark was kind and caring man, who will be missed many. His smile was infectious, as was his positive attitude.
