My condolences to the Studebaker family and friends. I hired Jim to do some painting with me. I never had a bad day with him! Played some golf with him too! I know he was proud of his kids cause he talked fondly at work about them. So sorry to see him go! RIP Jim.

We are so sorry for your loss. Studs was really a great guy and he will be missed by all who knew him. He was one of the proudest dads I ever met- anytime you talked to him he always had a story of what his kids were doing. Please know you are thought of and prayed for. Much love, Ken & Amanda Kauppinen

Jim Escolas. I would like to express my condolences to Jim’s family and friends. I got to know Studs over the past 12 years thru the Jazzy tournament at the calumet golf course every summer. Though I would only see him one week a year we became friendly. Jim was a very competitive golfer but also a fine gentleman. One year we even played each other in the finals which he would remind me that he won. Which he did on the last hole. My annual journey to the UP will be missing a big piece from now on. May you all find comfort in knowing Studs is playing the big course now. Proud to have had the privilege of being able to know him. Jim from Massachusetts. Or as Studs called me “Boston”
