Sorry to hear of Gordie's passing.
He was a good neighbor and friend, one of the most friendly and helpful persons you would ever want to know. Any time I needed help with anything he would be right over He was quite knowledgeable about the mining and hockey history of the Keweenaw. Gordie will be greatly missed and My sincere condolences to the family.

Dear June, Marie, Steve and families:
We are so sorry to learn of Gordie's passing! He was a great friend for many years. If we ever had a plumbing problem Gordie was the person to talk to. We didn't get to see him often lately but it was always a pleasure when we did meet at the store or the Station! Take care and God bless your wonderful family! Your friends, Barbara and Don Effinger
